In August 2005, Peter from Boatman’s World took over management of the DL sail loft in Corfu. Astrid Gerhards, who had been running the loft for the last 3 years, stayed with him to continue the good work she did there for the previous 3 years. The loft is now run by Maria and Astrid together.
In addition to sail repairs, DL Sails-Corfu offers construction of any type cover, bimini or awning to do with a boat. While we do not construct the metal part of biminis in-house we are able to work with three different stainless construction fabricators in Corfu, allowing us flexibility in delivery times.
We also service any type of sail, up to a certain size of boat. In the near future we will be upgrading our inventory of sewing machines and tools, allowing us to offer sail repair services to bigger boat sizes, as well as expanding into rigging and rope-work.
It is our goal to offer a complete sail and rigging service in the near future.
